Get New Jobs First- Follow me on Twitter

Wait for the punchline. This is a great recruiting story.

I got a bill today from Vonage for nine (9), simultaneous, four (4) hour phone calls from one of the offices fax lines to an unknown number in Minnesota.

There was clearly some sort of technical error.

After spending 40 minutes holding for tech support, I was told that their computers were down so they couldn't help me, but would call me back. They never did.

So I tweeted.

TWO minutes later I received this message. "@noahroth Maybe I can help? Plz DM me your name and best phone #. Can have billing issue looked at."

30 minutes after that my phone ring, and my account had been credited.

I've learned that twitter is a great way to instantly get information to people who opt-in. So, I've decided to tweet jobs. I'll be letting you know when a new role is green lighted by tweeting a 140 character job description with the tag "#hawkespeers."

You can search for that tag, follow me on twitter, or check out the facebook page for updates. You can find out our openings second after they go live.
